As part of the Operations function it is the role of the Operations Administrator is to ensure the process of raising a sales order to placing the purchase order on the Vendor is right first time and executed in a timely manner also ensuring all subsequent queries are dealt with to satisfactory outcome. 

 

Accountabilities and Activities

  • Processing all orders  (inc: stock and loan orders) working through any issues/problems to ensure they are processed in a timely manner and ensuring all orders placed on our suppliers correctly

  • Resolving any order queries/ issues ensuring minimal delay and impact on EXN clients.

  • Investigating and completed credit request authorisations (CRA) to satisfactory in a timely manner

  • Ensuring that return (RMA) transactions are completed correct first time and in a timely manner

  • Ensuring that there is effective communication channels with both internal and external customers to ensure the above is completed.

  • To cover purchasing admin role, when required.

  • Setting up part codes in our NetSuite, when required

  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time

 

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and have an excellent analytical and numerical skills with a good eye for detail.

  • Able to communicate effectively with both internal & external clients

 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an operations environment.

 

The ideal candidate will need:

  • To work well under pressure within a team environment and the ability to be able to prioritise with good time management

  • The ability to know when to progress issues up the chain of management to ensure a satisfactory and timely conclusion.

  • Willingness to take on colleagues’ tasks when the need arises, and to provide cover during periods of absence or peak periods.

  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal & external clients

  • To work well under pressure within a team environment and the ability to be able to prioritise with good time management

The Role: You will need to be a self-starter with confidence and experience in order to develop the Android application, there will be a team supporting you but the majority of the work will be performed autonomously.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing using Java
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Jquery would be desirable
  • Experience with Swift or Objective-C or Kotlin would be desirable
